THE KEY TO HEALTH AND FITNESS

CrossFit is a lifestyle characterized by safe, effective exercise and sound nutrition. CrossFit can be used to accomplish any goal, from improved health to weight loss to better performance. The program works for everyone people who are just starting out and people who have trained for years.

The magic is in the movements. Workouts are different every day and modified to help each athlete achieve his or her goals. CrossFit workouts can be adapted for people at any age and level of fitness. So don't wait and come to sweat with us!

FOR WHO?

Everyone, from 16 years old to 99 years old.

Need to do FUNDAMENTAL class if you have less than 3 month of experience with CrossFit.

WHEN?

Monday-Friday: 6am/7am/8am/11:30am/5pm/6pm/7pm/8pm(Monday to Thursday)

Open Gym: 9am-11:30am/12:30am-5pm

Saturday: 10am/11am

Open Gym: 12am-1pm

1.Having and maintaining a working knowledge of human anatomy and the concepts of functional exercise, basic nutrition and fundamental principles of exercise science

2.An ability to design and execute individual and small group exercise fitness programs, tailored to the needs and attainable goals of the individual, apparently healthy client, in a safe and effective way

3.An understanding for the need and importance of screening and client assessment; proficiency in conducting these evaluations initially and progressively

4.A desire to help clients reach their health and fitness goals through appropriate cardiovascular, flexibility and resistance exercise

5.An ability to motivate others in an encouraging and uplifting way towards improving their overall fitness and health

6.A dedication to maintaining personal integrity, client confidentiality and professional standards for best practice

7.A dedication to self-improvement, self-awareness, continuous learning, personal growth and development with regard to personal health, fitness and mental capacity

KM PILATES STUDIO

 

WHO ARE WE?

We are a Pilates studio equipped with Reformer, Barrel, Cadillac and Chair apparatus with a modern and balanced focus towards fitness. Our method improves corporeal mobility, strengthens the body emphasizing the pelvic center and the back, enhances flexibility and balance, and corrects posture and muscle imbalances. Our exercises take into account muscles and joints that are often neglected, which, when strengthened, help improve one's performance, prevent injuries, regain mobility and obtain a well-balanced, strong, toned and much freer body! 

 

HOW WE TRAIN

Pilates Equipment: We use latest-generation Pilates equipment which is highly effective, versatile and comfortable. Our machines are designed with springs that provide different levels of resistance. Our objective becomes to challenge our clients' mind and body during a safe, pleasant and effective training that meets the needs of each and allows for a powerful and unique experience. 

 

Pilates Floor: We perform a warm up on a mat placed on the floor utilizing accessories such as balls, rings, weights and elastic bands so that the body achieves alignment, respiratory rhythm, concentration, and a connection with the mind.

 

 

MOBILITY PROGRAM

In KM Pilates, we offer private and semi-private classes for a personalized training. Each session has a 55 minute duration.

 

Class Designs: We create modifications in the design of each class according to the needs of each client, making the Mobility Program suitable for everyone! We adapt accordingly to special groups such as: seniors, teenagers, pregnant women, dancers and athletes. Furthermore, we offer Ballet/Pilates (Barre) and Stretching/Pilates classes as well.

WHAT IS PILATES?

Pilates is a training system for people all ages, created by Joseph H. Pilates (1880-1967),  that has a large repertoire of controlled exercises which condition the entire body and involve the mind. Pilates works several muscle groups simultaneously through alignment and continuous movement, with a particular concentration on the strengthening and stabilization of the center (the abdomen and the anterior and posterior region of the pelvic girdle).
